THE ARGENTINIAN EDTECH ECOSYSTEM
Introduction
The following report was developed by EdTech startup OX Education and Education NGO
Varkey Foundation.
It presents the findings that resulted from the mapping of 61
Argentinian EdTech startups. The document tries to shed a light on the initiatives that
were identified, their current state of maturity and the innovative solutions they are
presently developing or offering.

OBJECTIVES
- _ Map the Argentinian EdTech Ecosystem and provide visibility to the identified
initiatives.
_ Provide a smart source of local education intelligence to empower the Argentinian
EdTech ecosystem.
_ Promote Argentinian EdTech’s growth through collaboration.
INSIGHTS
Based on the data gathered it is possible to determine there is an emerging Argentinian
EdTech ecosystem aimed to solve regional challenges through disruptive solutions or
the adaptation of internationally established ones.
Argetinian startups are following a global trend in which the inclusion of machine
learning and AI are key aspects for competitiveness. Still the implementation of this type
of technology is at its early stage.
The need for skills development and employability has fostered the creation of startups
aimed to solve this demand. Programming and Robotics have become a central topic of
discussion at a political and social level. Coding schools and Coding platforms for all
ages are the most common solutions these startups are offering.
